Hey! So, Coming Out Day is coming up soon (Oct. 11) and I just want to post a very stern reminder to NOT out anyone without their explicit permission.

Do NOT out anyone.

Got it?

Okay.

do not “come out” as straight or anything as a joke

do not “come out” as gay/bi/trans/etc as a joke

do not treat this day like a joke and don’t out anyone

YOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO
Senegal, Mauritania, Mali, Burkina Faso, Niger, Nigeria, Chad, Sudan, Eritrea, Ethiopia, and Djibouti. Those are the countries. It will be drought-resistant species, mostly acacias. And this is a fucking brilliant idea you have no idea oh my Christ
This will create so many jobs and regenerate so many communities and aaaaaahhhhhhh

more info here: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Great_Green_Wall
it’s already happening, and already having positive effects. this is wonderful, why have i not heard of this before? i’m so happy!

Oh yes, acacia trees.
They fix nitrogen and improve soil quality.
And, to make things fun, the species they’re using practices “reverse leaf phenology.” The trees go dormant in the rainy season and then grow their leaves again in the dry season. This means you can plant crops under the trees, in that nitrogen-rich soil, and the trees don’t compete for light because they don’t have any leaves on.
And then in the dry season, you harvest the leaves and feed them to your cows.
Crops grown under acacia trees have better yield than those grown without them. Considerably better.
So, this isn’t just about stopping the advancement of the Sahara - it’s also about improving food security for the entire sub-Saharan belt and possibly reclaiming some of the desert as productive land.
Of course, before the “green revolution,” the farmers knew to plant acacia trees - it’s a traditional practice that they were convinced to abandon in favor of “more reliable” artificial fertilizers (that caused soil degradation, soil erosion, etc).
This is why you listen to the people who, you know, have lived with and on land for centuries.

THIS is an incredible display of human knowledge and ingenuity.

you know tho now as a small side note I’m REALLY confused as to why Remington appears so much more than Maskemane, when Maskemane is like, 200 times more interesting than that guy

personally I’m REALLY curious about Maskemane, the masks and masqueraiders in general and I’d rather learn about them than watch some rogue running around ….but then at the same time it’s also good how it is right now because ankama could do something shitty like Mortis Ghost did in OFF by saying things like “elsens, Enoch and <some other characters> are actually human” ( that thing with elsens being humans really bothered me a lot, I just pretend that did not happen lmao ); what I mean is by not revealing some things, fans are able to imagine their own stuff ( which can be a lot more exciting and interesting than canon ideas )

so yeah idk man, I just hope they don’t mess up the thing with Maskemane x_x

Little more than a week and the world (or France in this case) will find out if the old rumor of Maskemane appearing in the Wakfu OVA will be true or not.

Is there anything you are expecting from the OVA?

I wait from OVA only a Maskemane.I don’t care about children of Eva and Tristepan, don’t care about Yugo and eliatropes story. This story is quite logical ends at the end of the second season.I just waiting for epic story.
About Maskemane i ‘m scared a little bit,b’cuz Remington looks diffrent then comic version .He was looks like “I’m jerk bitchez” at TV show.I hope Maskemane WON’T be like “IM PSYCHO WITH MASK”.
About truth…Once i did talk with tchokun(Ankama’s designer) and he did say that don’t want spoiler.image

Or comment to the picture with the mask

I have a feeling they’ll ruin maskemane somehow and have the same fears you do about the psychopath mask :/ I really hope they don’t just throw away his entire personality and just turn him into some mindless psycho

SAME I have a really bad feeling too, we’ll probably all end up being really disappointed x:

as a skinny person, you are catered to and you don’t even realize it. did you ask for that? no and i understand that. but you will never cry your eyes out in a dressing room because even the largest size doesn’t fit. you will never deal with rejection from a guy solely because of your weight. you are socially accepted.

is any kind of body shaming disgusting? yes. but please don’t act like you’d rather be fat.
